What is Kick it @ the Cornerstone?
A service aimed at the Seedley & Langworthy community that covers all areas of changing your smoking habit whether it be:- cutting down going smoke free in the home or car or if you’re ready, attempting to quit! It is a non-judgemental project. It’s aim is not to tell people to give up smoking or put any pressure on anyone, it is here to support and guide people who are ready and genuinely want to make a change to their habit. With that in mind if you do slip up or have a bad week you won’t be made to feel bad or told off we’ll simply help you to evaluate and discuss how you would like to move forward. Kick It understands that quitting or changing your smoking habit is about more than just cutting out the cigs, so we’re offering something different... You choose your own package of support to help kick start your healthier lifestyle using the activities on offer here at Langworthy Cornerstone alongside one-to-one support and advice on stopping/reducing your habit. So, how about taking part in one of our classes to keep your mind and hands busy? Or perhaps you’d like to start keep fit and/or healthy cookery classes to combat those weight gain worries? E-cigarette safety: the facts explained
A short film for the public on e-cigarette safety is available on our YouTube channel here Leading experts take a look at the evidence on some of the issues that surround the use of e-cigarettes and give their views on the vaping 'debate'. This is a shortened version of the second of five NCSCT films for the public, part-funded by Public Health England and produced in association with the New Nicotine Alliance.
