What information do we collect?

Langworthy Cornerstone will only use the information it holds about you for the purpose you provided it.

We will also only collect the minimum information necessary to fulfil that purpose.
So for example, if you have expressed an interest in attending an activity, we obviously need your contact details to give you further information.

We conduct regular research to see how people are benefitting and to help us plan new activities, and if you have filled in a questionnaire for us, we may hold that for quite some time, so that we can conduct longer term studies.

How Langworthy Cornerstone uses your information

Langworthy Cornerstone is committed to compliance with Data Protection legislation. Keeping your personal information accurate and secure is a vital part of providing the best services to you. Paper records are kept in locked filing cabinets, ICT equipment (including smart phones) and email accounts are all password protected. Personal information is not taken off the premises unless the need to do this is justified, and any risks considered and mitigated.

When you provide information you will be told what it will be used for and whom it will be shared with.

We do not use the contact details we hold for general marketing, however, with your permission, we will share your information with other appropriate organisations, in order to refer you into other services.

Langworthy Cornerstone will not supply these organisations with your information unless it is satisfied that equal measures are in place to protect the information from unauthorised access.

However, you need to be aware that Langworthy Cornerstone is required to share your information on occasion with other agencies if we believe you are a risk to yourself or others, or in relation to a safeguarding concern.

We do not divulge personal information in our reports unless it is for a case study, and we would not do that without your prior written approval.

Your information will only be held as long as is necessary and will be disposed of in a secure manner when no longer needed.
